Testing Equipment
MCA offer a wide range of testing equipment suitable for professionals within the gas and water utilities industries.

Our range includes:
Drill Taps & Cutters - Ranging from 1/2” through to 2”, available for all makes of machines including Pipetech, Pass, Talbot, Wask, Hutz & Mueller.
Mains Test Cowhorns - For pressure testing gas pipelines in line with British Gas Codes of Practice Engineering Standard BGC/PS/DIS5.5. Colour-coded for ease of identification (low, medium & high pressure). All attach to the common base.
Test Pumps - For hydrostatically testing gas and water pipelines through a 1/2” BSP hose connection, 12 litre tank producing 60 bar/840 psi maximum pressure.
Pressure Gauges - Gauges of various size, specification, pressure range and entry position can be supplied from stock.
Test Ends - Provide a simple & fully re-usable method of pressure testing plastic pipe. Single sized Test Ends are available in the size range 40mm to 500mm and are suitable for up to 16 bar.
Purge Hoses - For purging gas pipelines by connecting to meter control valves, threaded outlets or riser pipes, in line with British Gas Codes of Practice Engineering Standard BGC/PS/DIS5.6. Made to order in 3/4”, 1” & 2” configurations. Flame traps can be supplied with purge hose or separately.
Druck Pressure Calibrators & Indicators - MCA provide a Druck range of pressure indicators and calibrators in DP1 610/615 and 705 series.
Comark Pressure Meters - MCA offer pressure meters which combine high accuracy with speed of response and offer the option of ATEX certified, intrinsically safe models. Up to 7bar pressure is available.
Clegg Impact Soil Tester - Provides a simple method of testing the design and construction of pavement overlays, subgrades and earthworks and for confirming uniform compaction over wide areas.
